First story!

This is an old character background for Changeling: the Dreaming

Quick synopsis: Changelings are Faeries of old, waking in mortal bodies and sharing them for a time, whose duties are to preserve the creativity and dreams of mortals. In those Dreams, the Fae still live and fight and rule, and through those Dreams they exist even today.

Lord Tyburn is a Sidhe, one of the Shining Host, likened to the tales of Elves, of nobility and perfection. He is a noble of House Fiona, a House known for Passion and Tragic Love...and so begins the tale.

Note: Tyburn's history is a re-imagination of the Alfred Noyes poem, "The Highwayman", set to music (the poem, not Tyburn's history *G*) by the lovely Loreena McKennitt.
