*sigh* I don't know if it's true yet, but I swear if it is...I shouldn't even be getting annoyed by it either. It's a piece of bad fanfic (and badly-written fanfic at that), but it's that whole, "Someone is wrong on the internet" phenomenon that apparently grabs us all and doesn't let us go.
